Feeding Habits Live fish, blood worms, tubifex worms, glass worms and brine shrimp. Fresh zucchini, spinach, lettuce, peas and green beans. Frozen vegetable diet, beef heart, plankton, brine shrimp, glass worms and blood worms. Will accept tablet and freeze dried foods on occasion.

Compatibility Peaceful with other fish of the same size, but will eat smaller fish. Black Sharks will not tolerate their own kind.

Habitat Thailand: Moderately decorate with plastic plants, rocks and driftwood. Live plants will be eaten so use as a food source.

Additional Comments Black Sharks are considered a delicacy in their native land. Vegetation is essential in their diet. Without vegetation, the shark will lose pigmentation of the skin and become susceptible to disease.
