| I am looking for a forever home for a 20year old mare. She is a loveable girl, eager to please. I would consider giving her away to the right home. Can anyone help? |

Hi. I replied to this earlier, but I have just registered a username :o) We have 3 acres of paddock (and two stables and a multitude of field shelters!) in leicestershire, and are looking for a horse or pony to care for during its retirement or after rescue. Neither myself or my daughters are fussed about riding at all. We'd just love an equine to care for. Let me know if you'd consider us please. My daughters are 10 and 13. Bea email address is bea@beaunique.co.uk or if anyone else reading has a suitable animal, please feel free to drop me a line. We're also looking for a few sheep to rotate in the paddocks if you know of any. |

Hi Sasca I've looked at local rescue centres and they seem really reluctant to rehome any larger animals (sheep, goats, horses etc) The only place close to me said I could have two goats together, one of whom is lovely and one of whom has the biggest horns you've ever seen and has to be kept separate from the nice one as he's been butting him! Unfortunately, as much as I like the first, I'm not putting my kids or dogs (or me for that matter) in danger unnecessarily!! Thanks for emailing me back Helen. I've replied and hope to hear from you soon!! It's a shame about the distance but it's not an insurmountable problem. I'm still interested to hear from anyone with suitable animals though, until I know whether or not this horse is suitable. Bea |

ive got a couple of ponies for sale that are rescues, including an adhorable youngster. Have you specificall at the equine charities? im guessing your up north if these aren't near by as they tend to be down south? thats a shame you havn't got any closer, rewings world horse welfare etc are usually quite good. |
