| wanted free to a good home 15hh and above i have wanted a horse for years and now i feel ready to get one as i have the money now but would like a heavy build horse as it needs to be a weight carrier thanx chelsey |

Unless its very old and needs light retiring, you wont get 'free' horse that fully workable. If they are being offered for free it usually because they have restricting medical issues, dangerous behaviour, colts or too old to bother caring for. Otherwise people can get a handful of money for their animal.
Have you thought of working to apotential budget. For a 15hh+ weight carrying novice ride, you looking at atleast £1500 if not a couple of thousand more…they are great family horses and in demand at the moment. Good luck in your search. |
