Jampat - you don't say where you are but try these sites... www.dobermannrehome.co.uk www.dobermannsinneed.co.uk www.dobermannwelfare.org.uk www.dobermann-rescue.co.uk www.dogsblog.com/category/dobermann/ they tend to only have jeuvies and adults though, no pups... but may i also point out as others have that it is illegal now to dock unless the breeder and would be owner can provide evidence for the vet that the dog will be used to work in an environment where a tail will effect its daily tasks. This has been illegal since april 2007 in the UK and so i would imagine you'll struggle to find a docked pup for free. we recently rehomed a 2 year old who has been docked illegally and his tail is a complete mess and may never heal. Although i am used to the appearance of a docked dobe i would rather have a happy healthy dog. good luck. |

I think you're a bit thick, I am trying to say, tail or no tail its still a dobermann. Just because they now have tails, it doesn't detract from the dog. I have had both, tails and no tails, and both have been happy with and without. |

| Scotland, take time out and read what I actually said, I was saying it makes no difference to the actual dog if you buy it with a tail ( it is still a dobe afterall ). Mine has a tail, but please read properly before you come rushing in. |

Suen (Suen) posted on Sunday, October 04, 2009 - 1:08 pm it makes no odds to the dog. Yes it does make a difference to the dog Its only a human thing to mutilate a dog so it looks good for them but as dogs are born with tails & need them so why dock tails? Anyone that wants a dog docked is not an animal lover & only interestedin the look nothing else. |

You'll be lucky, its illegal to dock them now. I have one with a tail, and its lovely. Don't be stuck on the fact it has to be docked, it makes no odds to the dog. |
