hi - on reflection - would it not be traumatic for the bird to travel so far when he is blind? would you rather hold out and rehome him within london? jo x

ps - just to tell you a little more about myself - i am married with no kids and only work 2 days a week so lots of time spent at home. i have a cockatiel and a baby parakeet with a disabled leg whose sibling died. the idea would be to intoduce him and the quaker so they could live together.

hi freddy-lee

i am about 45 mins from bradford so that would be good if we can arrange something - thursday/friday might be difficult for me so i would need to know the day/time so i can try and sort something out. i am happy to pay the £100 - i am also a member of the forum above so he would be coming to a uk parrot rescue member anyway!

can i ask if you bred the bird etc and whether he is in good health otherwise apart from his eyes? jo x

ps - my email is mrwoo8@aol.com if you want to reply to that.

I am looking for a special home for a blind blue quaker.
He is still a baby but unfortunately he cannot see, although the vet says there is a chance he may regain his sight in the next few months as his sight has not developed yet.
This little man needs a new home where he will be loved and cared for as you will need time to let him get to know your voice.
He can feed and drink on his own and requires that special person to provide a quiet peaceful home for him.
He come with his cage, food and hatch certificate.
Looking for £100 to secure his new loving home.
I am from London.
